He was part of the top management of the best hospital chains in India - Executive Director Global Hospitals Group, Group Chief Operating Officer for Apollo Hospitals, Medical Director at Fortis Healthcare & Chief Medical Officer with Delhi Govt.
Dr. Robinson obtained his Medical & Post Graduate degrees in Anesthesiology from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi. Additionally Dr. Robinson has extensive training & certifications in Organisation Development, Financial Management, and Executive Coaching & Advanced Leadership Skills, which qualify him to “lead from the front”.
Apart from healthcare Dr. Robinson has facilitated strategic planning, restructuring, and transformation programs for organisations like Godfrey Phillips, Modicare, Ranbaxy, Tata Motors, MindaHUF, DCM, NTPC, ST Micro, UNDP & UNESCO.

He is also the strategist of the new iThrive Initiative whose mission is to accelerate the development of new interactive digital games and products based upon the principles of positive psychology to strengthen the emotional capacity of adolescents, and thus reduce the later development of mental health disorders.
Until March 2011, he was the first Executive Director of the mHealth Alliance. The Alliance was dedicated to the delivery of quality health to the farthest reaches of wireless networks. Its founding partners were the United Nations Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Vodafone Group Foundation, PEPFAR, HP, and the GSM Association.
David has forty years of experience in public policy, information technology, communications, US and global health, and finance in both the public and private sectors. As Chief Counsel and Staff Director from 1981 to 1985, he led the staff of the US House Telecommunications and Finance Subcommittee during the advent of competition in telecommunications, the breakup of AT&T, the emergence of the cable television industry, and the introduction of electronic and competitive securities trading. Prior to joining the mHealth Alliance, he was a Director and Chief Strategist of the non-profit 100 organization COMCARE Emergency Response Alliance, which he founded in 1998. At COMCARE, David helped develop a new vision and interoperable architecture for domestic emergency response of all kinds, including medical, based on modern information technology, broadband, and wireless.
He has managed and been a founding owner of radio and satellite companies, and represented a wide range of information, communications, health, finance and other clients and causes. David has a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College, and a J.D. with High Honours from George Washington University Law School where he was a member of the Law Review.

Dr. Hansen has thirty-five years of experience in the US and International healthcare industry. He has worked as a front line hospital administrator, as an Operations Officer, as a hospital Chief Executive Officer and as a health system corporate CEO. He spent a number of years as a consultant to hospitals, Boards of Directors, and physician groups, usually addressing improvement in operational performance and organizational development.
Dr. Hansen has worked in government-operated hospitals and health systems, not-for-profit, community hospitals, and corporate for-profit hospitals. As an employed hospital executive and as a consultant, Dr. Hansen has led major construction activities, service development activities, and business start-ups. He is particularly strong in the areas of operating systems design, implementation, maintenance, re-engineering, and evaluation. In this regard, he has been asked to address the Bond Covenant violations of several struggling hospitals. In these cases, he was able to effectively turn-around their operational and financial performance.
He has led teams in the operational and financial turnaround of five US hospitals and one international hospital. His is committed to developing the human capital of an organization and reflects mentor/coach approach in his leadership style. He measures success in the professional and personal growth of the people within his organizations. By promoting a learning organization environment, Dr. Hansen encourages people to develop their personal and professional character. He teaches the use of data and information to make sound management decisions and emphasizes the use of Strategic Dialogue to promote critical-thinking in the organization.
He has consulted Hospital boards and financial institutions on the operational enhancement of distressed community hospitals. In these situations too, he worked with the organization to improve processes at every level and improved financial performance always followed. He has assisted and led four hospitals in attaining initial accreditation by either JCAHO (US) or JCI (International).
Dr. Hansen uses personally designed organizational development tools and those of highly regarded change agents and organizational development professionals in the industry to enhance organizational performance. More important, he works with and through the people of the organization to effect mechanisms for continuous process improvement.
From 2007 through 2011, Dr. Hansen had the opportunity to complete the opening of a 400-bed super-specialty tertiary care hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed construction and opened another super-specialty hospital in Moka, Mauritius. He led a team in the re-engineering of a multi-organ transplantation hospital in Chennai, India. In February 2012, he accepted the position of Administrator at Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. This appointment was to support the sale of the hospital to a physician group. In September 2013, Dr. Hansen was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer for International Trauma and Critical Care (ITCC), a multi-hospital group headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria. His mandate is to lead the development of hospitals of international standards across Nigeria.
He holds a Ph.D. in Management and Organizational Development, specializing in Hospitals and Healthcare Organizations. Dr. Hansen is now working in industry sectors beyond health care service delivery. Dr. Hansen was the 2005 recipient of the Athena Award in the US. This is an international award, which recognizes persons who have made significant contribution to the advancement of women and minorities in the workplace.
